Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you create an account, we store your email address via Clerk (our auth provider). When you use the Advisor, we store your project inputs and the resulting recommendation so you can revisit it. We also collect anonymized usage counts (recommendations generated per month) to enforce plan limits.

How we use it

Your data is used to: provide the Advisor service, enforce fair usage limits, and display your recommendation history. We do not sell your data to third parties or use it to train AI models.

Third-party services

• Clerk — authentication and user management
• Neon — database hosting (EU/US region)
• Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions
• Vercel — hosting and analytics (page view counts only)
• Anthropic — AI inference for stack recommendations (inputs are sent to Claude API; Anthropic does not train on API data)
• Buttondown — newsletter email delivery (only if you subscribe)

Cookies

We use a session cookie set by Clerk for authentication. No third-party tracking cookies are used. No advertising cookies are used.

Data retention

Your recommendations and account data are retained while your account is active. You can request deletion by contacting us. Account deletion removes all stored recommendations and personal data.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. EU/EEA users also have rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
